ZENPASTA
SHIRATAKI
Description
Dried shirataki noodles, to be rehydrated.
Konjac (shirataki) noodles are essentially composed only of fiber. Consequently, they have very few calories and no carbohydrates. They are therefore ideal for all diets, especially low-carb diets.
Ingredients
Ingredients of the rehydrated product: water, konjac flour, calcium hydroxide, citric acid, tapioca syrup and starch (traces).
Gluten-free.
Nutritional characteristics
Directions for use
Portion per person: 3 rolls (75 g dried pasta, 180 g rehydrated).
Prepare a pot of boiling water. Use much more water than you would for regular pasta. You can simply use hot tap water, but the results are better by boiling ZenPasta like regular pasta.
Immerse the desired amount of ZenPasta and let it boil or rest for at least 7-10 minutes. There's no problem if you leave ZenPasta in water for too long; this pasta never overcooks and always maintains the same consistency. The weight gain is greater if left for 10-12 minutes.
Drain in a colander and rinse well under the tap with hot water. It is important to rinse well to remove the small amount of sugar used to keep the ZenPasta rolls compact. The better the rinse, the less residual sugar will remain.
If the chosen sauce allows it, sauté the ZenPasta in a pan with the sauce to mix them thoroughly. Flavorful and slightly salty sauces are recommended as ZenPasta has no flavor and is not salted.
Format
Net weight: 250 g equivalent to 600 g of rehydrated pasta.
