Simeticone
What it is and what it is used for
SIMEGUT contains the active ingredient simeticone (an anti-flatulent) which belongs to the category of medicines used for gastrointestinal functional disorders.
SIMEGUT is used in infants and children for the treatment of symptoms of gastrointestinal flatulence and aerophagia by promoting the elimination of gases that form in the gastrointestinal tract and the elimination of swallowed air.
Consult your doctor if your child does not feel better or feels worse after 7 days of treatment.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use SIMEGUT
- if your child is allergic to simeticone, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using SIMEGUT.
SIMEGUT is used in children and infants.
Do not exceed the recommended doses.
After a short period of treatment (7 days) with no appreciable results, consult your doctor.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
