Sobrefluid adults 200 mg suppositories

What it is and what it is used for
The active ingredient of Sobrefluid is sobrerol, a mucolytic.
This medicine is indicated for adults to facilitate the removal of excess mucus in acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Treatment duration should not exceed three days.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use Sobrefluid
- if you are allergic to sobrerol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);

- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (see "Pregnancy and breastfeeding");

- in individuals under 18 years of age.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Sobrefluid.

Pay particular attention:
Do not prolong treatment for more than 3 days due to the risks associated with the accumulation of terpene derivatives in the body, including the brain, and in particular for the risks of neuropsychological disorders.
Do not administer doses higher than those recommended to avoid a greater risk of adverse drug reactions and disorders associated with overdose.
The product is flammable, do not approach flames.

Children
Do not use Sobrefluid in children or adolescents under 18 years of age (see section "Do not use Sobrefluid")

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Side effects with unknown frequency (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data):
- allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions manifesting as itching, rash, hives, edema, and dyspnea;
- bronchial obstruction (temporary narrowing of the upper airways),
- gastric disorders (stomach),
- nausea.
