NASAL HYGIENE
Description
Isotonic saline solution 0.9%.
Libenar vials are suitable for infants, children, and adults:
- for nasal hygiene: by instillation or cleaning (washing) in case of dry or congested nose;
- for ocular hygiene: by instillation, cleansing, or bathing;
- for ear hygiene;
- for wound cleaning;
- for inhalation in aerosol therapy.
Instructions for use
Wash hands thoroughly before use.
Detach a single-dose vial and twist off the top to open it.
The product can be used daily for nose and eye hygiene, 1 to 6 times a day, as needed.
- For nasal hygiene: by instillation or cleaning (washing) in case of blocked nose or dry nose.
Tilt the head to the side.
Carefully insert the tip of the vial into the nostril and gently press the single-dose vial.
Repeat the operation for the other nostril.
Bring the head back to an upright position to allow mucus to drain, then remove the excess.
Do not blow your nose forcefully within 10 minutes after administering the product.
In infants, instill the product with minimal pressure to avoid any risk of middle ear contamination.
- For eye hygiene: by instillation, cleansing, or bathing.
Squeeze a few drops of the solution into each eye.
Remove excess liquid with a sterile gauze.
Do not allow the single-dose vial to come into contact with the eye's surface.
If using another eye product, start by using the isotonic vials, then wait 15 minutes before instilling the other product.
The solution can be used with contact lenses.
- For ear hygiene.
For rinsing. For proper ear hygiene, after using a surfactant ear solution, use the product to flush out dissolved earwax sediments and rinse the external ear canal.
A single-dose vial can be used for both ears.
Remove excess liquid with gauze.
- For wound cleaning.
Rinse the wound using all the solution contained in the single-dose vial.
Remove excess liquid only from healthy skin.
Do not allow the single-dose vial to come into contact with the wound surface.
Components
Sodium chloride 0.9 g, purified water q.s. to 100 ml.
Preservative-free.
Warnings
- Single and personal use.
- After opening: use immediately and discard the single-dose vial after use.
- Do not use the same single-dose vial for different purposes.
- Not suitable for injections.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Do not use if the single-dose vial is damaged.
- Do not allow the single-dose vial to come into contact with the eye or wound surface.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- The opened single-dose vial should not be reused: as the product contains no preservatives, reusing this product may lead to the risk of administering a contaminated solution.
