SOMATOLINE 0.1% + 0.3% CUTANEOUS EMULSION

What it is and what it is used for
SOMATOLINE is a dermatological product with anti-cellulite activity. SOMATOLINE is used for localized adiposity accompanied by cellulite. Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short period of treatment.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use SOMATOLINE
- if you are allergic to the active ingredients levothyroxine and escin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in paragraph 6).
- Iodine intolerance.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (see PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING).

Warnings and precautions
There are no particular precautions to take before using SOMATOLINE. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for cutaneous use can lead to sensitization phenomena and cause undesirable effects. In this case, you must stop the treatment and consult your doctor. You should not use the product near mucous membranes. It is advisable to consult your doctor even if the disorders have occurred in the past. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using SOMATOLINE.
Children and adolescents
Do not use in children and adolescents.

Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. No particular side effects attributable to the treatment are known. Very rarely, cases with symptoms attributable to altered thyroid function have been reported. Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of undesirable effects. These undesirable effects are generally transient.
