Stipoff
It is a dietary supplement made with lactitol, mannitol, concentrated plum juice, mallow, marshmallow, and inulin.
Mallow and marshmallow can be useful in regulating physiological intestinal transit.
Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) is a natural source of mucilages (glycosans) that help to ensure an emollient effect on the stool. Being amorphous substances, in water they tend to swell, producing plastic masses or viscous dispersions that can have a mechanical-osmotic laxative action.
Mallow (Malva sylvestris): the flowers and leaves, in particular, are rich in mucilages that give the plant emollient and laxative properties and act by coating the mucous membranes with a viscous layer that protects them from irritating agents.
Inulin is a sugar obtained from chicory roots. It is part of the group of vegetable fibers not absorbed by the human intestine. It can promote the regular functioning of the intestine, resulting in stools that are richer in water and therefore softer and easier to evacuate.
