Description
A very special sun photoprotector, designed to protect skin undergoing heliotherapy. It consists of a selective filtering system, designed to facilitate the reduction, through heliotherapy, of inflammatory-desquamative skin conditions. It has an exclusive formula characterized by high concentrations of boswellic acids with very high soothing and anti-redness capabilities, preventing sun erythema.
It consists of a selective filtering system, SPF10 UVAPF15, designed to allow a significant portion of UVB rays with a wavelength of 311 nm to pass through, but with strong filtering power against solar rays of different wavelengths (UVA and UVB that cause erythema). Considering the possibility, however minimal, that 311 nm UVB rays may induce sunburn, Tae-X UV-PSO has been equipped with a strong soothing action and prevention of sun erythema. Its formula contains high concentrations of boswellic acids, very special anti-erythema and soothing active ingredients, derived from the resin of an exotic plant, Boswellia serrata, and designed to further help skin subjected to the stress of even very intense sun exposures. Furthermore, boswellic acids, due to their peculiar effect, help to reduce the erythema that is always present in psoriatic patches, regardless of sun exposure.

Instructions for use
It is recommended to apply Tae-X UV-PSO 10 to 15 minutes before sun exposure, as is normally done for all sun protection products. The product should only be applied to psoriatic patches, in abundant quantity, then massaged lightly for a few minutes to promote absorption and avoid localized accumulation. The product should always be reapplied after every bath in fresh or salt water and also after sweating profusely, for example after intense physical exercise. On healthy skin, not affected by psoriasis, it is advisable to apply a sun protection product suitable for your phototype and exposure conditions: season, time of day, geographical latitude, etc. In any case, it is recommended, for initial sun exposures, for all skin types, to apply a minimum protection of SPF 30 and a high UVA protection factor on non-psoriatic skin. For low phototypes, i.e., for those with lighter skin who burn easily, it is always advisable to apply a sunscreen with SPF 50+ and a very high UVA protection factor. In any case, it is advisable to consult your dermatologist to correctly classify your phototype and receive personalized advice for adequate sun protection. The duration of sun exposure to obtain the greatest benefits from heliotherapy must also be established based on the phototype: short exposures will be recommended for those with fair and sensitive skin and longer exposures for those with a darker complexion. A correct heliotherapy program for psoriasis can be advised by the dermatologist specialist who treats the patient for this pathology: in no case are prolonged sun exposures with the use of Tae-X UV-PSO recommended without consulting the specialist. Like people with very sensitive skin to sunlight, children should always be protected with very high protection products (SPF 50+ and very high UVA PF).

Warnings
Tae-X UV-PSO is neither a drug nor a curative product for psoriasis: it is a sunscreen designed to allow patients suffering from psoriasis to obtain the best benefits from heliotherapy. Tae-X UV-PSO is not recommended for use as a common sunscreen for everyone because it does not guarantee sufficient protection for healthy skin in most people. The best benefit will be obtained by following a personalized heliotherapy program suggested by the dermatologist specialist.
