Instructions for use
Switching on the thermometer:
To switch on the thermometer, press the ON/OFF button; a short beep indicates that the thermometer is on.
A display test is performed automatically. All segments are displayed.
When the ambient temperature is lower than 32°C, an <> (Low - temperature too low to be detected) and a flashing <<°C>> will appear on the display in the top right corner.
The thermometer is now ready for use.
Instructions for use:
Choose the type of measurement you wish to use.
During measurement, the temperature is continuously displayed and the <<°C>> symbol flashes.
When the temperature increase is less than 0.1°C every 16 seconds, the acoustic signal (beep-beep-beep for 10 times) will indicate that the temperature measurement is complete, the <<°C>> symbol will stop flashing, and the thermometer will be ready for reading the body temperature.
To prolong battery life, turn off the thermometer after use by briefly pressing the ON/OFF button.
Otherwise, the thermometer will switch off automatically after about 10 minutes.
Value recording:
If you press and hold the ON/OFF button for more than three seconds when switching on the thermometer, the temperature recorded during the last measurement will automatically appear on the display.
A small <> will indicate that the reading is from a stored data.
Approximately 3 seconds after releasing the button, this value will disappear and the thermometer will be ready for measurement.
Subsequently, the stored value will be deleted.

Types of measurement
Oral:
Insert the thermometer into one of the two pockets, either left or right, next to the root of the tongue. The thermometer sensor must be in good contact with the tissue. Close your mouth and breathe only through your nose to avoid altering the measurement. Approximate measurement time: 1 minute.
Rectal:
This is the safest method and is particularly suitable for infants and children. Carefully insert the thermometer probe into the anus up to a maximum of 2-3 cm. Approximate measurement time: 1 minute.
Axillary:
For a more reliable result, take the body temperature orally or rectally. We recommend keeping the thermometer under the armpit for at least 3-5 minutes even after hearing the beep signaling the end of the measurement. Approximate time (to the beep): 1 minute.

Cleaning and maintenance
Name: Isopropyl Alcohol 70%.
Use a cotton swab soaked in 70% Isopropyl alcohol to clean and disinfect the thermometer.
Do not use abrasive detergents or benzene for cleaning, and never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
