TIODOL
COMPLEX
Food supplement containing glucosamine and chondroitin, the main constituents of connective tissue and cartilage. Contains Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM). The standardized dry extract of Boswellia titrated in AKBA is useful for joint function. Zinc and Selenium contribute to the protection from oxidative stress, Vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. This combination, useful for tissue trophism, supports the physiological functioning of the joints.Chondroitin sulfate
Present in every tissue of the human body, thanks to its particular conformation it attracts and retains a lot of water, nourishing and lubricating the joints. It is the main component of cartilage and as such reduces pain and improves the functionality of bone joints, giving articular cartilage the elasticity that makes it capable of absorbing shocks. In joint degeneration processes, there is a decrease in this component which leads to the progressive loss of elasticity and the onset of painful sensations.
Glucosamine
Essential in the synthesis of proteins present in cartilage as it stimulates the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, promoting the construction of new cartilage and blocking the excessive destruction of existing cartilage. Finally, it promotes the fixation of sulfur in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate, nourishing and renewing articular cartilage. Glucosamine alone is effective, but the addition of chondroitin sulfate increases its effectiveness for the benefit of cartilage.
Methyl Sulfonyl Methane
It is a biologically active form of sulfur and is the main component of cartilage and glycosaminoglycans. The latter form a kind of protective gel that acts as a matrix for tendons, cartilage, skin and bones, contributing to the maintenance of joint integrity and connective tissue elasticity.
Collagen
The main component of fibrous connective tissue, whose function is to support the muscular body structure of the bones. In vitro studies have shown that daily collagen intake reduces pain in subjects with severe and pronounced symptoms of suffering. The oral administration of this protein, in fact, increases the pool of amino acids and peptides present in the cartilage, to the benefit of the joints.
Boswellia
With a beneficial action for the joints. It is recognized as having an effective anti-inflammatory action in disorders of the osteoarticular system, such as rheumatism, osteoarthritis, back pain, tendonitis, etc. Boswellic acids, in fact, exert a selective inhibition on the elastase enzyme, responsible for the destruction of glycosaminoglycans, thus maintaining the integrity of collagen.
Vitamin D3
Useful for maintaining constant levels of calcium and phosphorus, keeping bones healthy and strong.
Zinc and Selenium
They belong to the group of mineral salts called microelements, essential for the formation of bone tissue. They are nutrients that regulate the immune system and perform an important natural antioxidant action against free radicals.
Aescin
It is one of the saponins contained in Aesculus Hyppocastanum. Its use in cases of hematomas and contusions is linked to the increase in capillary tone, resistance and elasticity, with a decrease in their permeability.
Camphor
Acts on the skin as a rubefacient (draws blood), antipruritic and soothing. Its use is also widely found in the sports field as a remedy against painful contractures, cramps and muscle pain.
Capsaicin
Intended for the treatment of muscle and rheumatic pain, it counteracts the release of substance P (pain mediator from the point of onset to the central nervous system) in joint tissues, where this substance activates the release of inflammatory factors responsible for various forms of arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Menthol
Creates a cold effect that stimulates blood circulation, eliminating the sensation of swelling. Its anti-rheumatic and relaxing properties on tired muscles also make it useful for athletes and for all those who perform intense physical activity.
Gluten-free.
