What it is and what it is used for
TUSSIBRON contains the active ingredient oxolamine, which belongs to a group of medicines called antitussives that work by relieving cough symptoms.
TUSSIBRON is indicated for the treatment of cough symptoms.
What you need to know before taking this medicine
Do not take TUSSIBRON:
if you are allergic to oxolamine, similar substances, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking TUSSIBRON.
Do not use TUSSIBRON Syrup for prolonged treatments.
Consult your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short period of treatment.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects may occur:

- gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
