Description
Medical Device Class I Reg. (EU) 2017/745 and subsequent amendments.
Finger-wrist splint, moldable to maintain metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints in flexion. The medical device provides immobilization and effective treatment of injuries to the long fingers of the hand.
Can be used in palmar or dorsal position.
Fixed distal and proximal straps and two repositionable intermediate straps.

Instructions for use
Open the four straps. Place the injured finger on the splint along with the next longest finger. Close the strap at the fingertips and the wrist strap. Tighten the intermediate straps, one around the fingers and the other around the hand. These two straps can be repositioned along the hook-and-loop fasteners.
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, it is advisable to shape the splint to obtain a metacarpophalangeal joint flexion of 60°-70°, a proximal interphalangeal joint flexion of 10°-20°, and a distal interphalangeal joint in extension.

Washing
Hand wash in lukewarm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, gently wring, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

Components
100% polyamide.
Splint 100% aluminum.

Warnings
It is advisable, for the first time, to have the product positioned by a qualified operator and to perform subsequent repositioning autonomously in the same manner.
Do not prolong the use of the product without medical advice.
The product is designed for use by one person only; do not use it on multiple people.
The product should not be used in direct contact with broken skin.
When adjusting the straps, tension them so that they are stable but comfortable.
The brace should not be used if relative or absolute immobilization or surgical operation is necessary.
If problems occur during the use of the product, such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional.
In case of a serious incident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the competent local healthcare professional.

Storage
Store in a dry environment, away from excessive heat and light.
