Adjuvant hydrogel in healing processes.
It is an invasive medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/CEE MDD. It is intended to promote the restoration of a moist microenvironment in particularly dry wounds, while also aiding the cleansing and granulation phase of uncleansed skin lesions.
It is a hydrogel that can be used to hyperhydrate necrotic tissue and induce autolysis, while stimulating the granulation of underlying vital tissue. It therefore facilitates the cleansing of the wound bed covered with necrosis, fibrin, and cellular debris, aiding the resumption of tissue repair.
Unlike many astringent substances that cause vasoconstriction, soaps that can generally cause edema or dehydration, or alcohol rubs that can cause damage by removing fats from skin tissue, making the skin drier and more prone to chapping, Vulnamin Gel promotes the elimination of necrotic tissues and protects the integrity of the skin. Vulnamin Gel does not have an astringent or vasoconstrictive action, but promotes the lysis of necrotic tissues by promoting the granulation of underlying vital tissues. Protect with a secondary dressing.

Instructions for use
After cleaning the wound, apply an even layer over the entire lesion area, staying within the wound margin.
The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the state of the wound. The dressing change should be commensurate with the wound exudation; it is recommended to change it every other day or, at most, every three days.

Components
Purified water; sodium hyaluronate; glycine; L-proline; L-leucine; L-lysine HCl; methyl parahydroxybenzoate; propyl parahydroxybenzoate; propylene glycol.

Warnings
Before dressing, wash hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material from the wound by spraying saline solution from the inside of the wound outwards. After carefully cleaning the area to be treated, gently blot the wound with gauze to remove excess blood. If the lesion does not require further intervention, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin Gel.
It is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. No overdose phenomena are known. No side effects are known. No interactions with drugs and medicinal substances are known. Although no secondary effects are known in cases of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to apply only under medical judgment.
Vulnamin Gel is a product characterized by good tolerability; occasionally, burning sensations may occur, due to the hypertonicity of the product which characterizes its effectiveness in cleansing. This sensation, however, tends to resolve spontaneously. The application of the gel may cause maceration of the perilesional skin; this is a harmless event that resolves spontaneously by airing the area for a few minutes.
The expiry date refers to the product unopened and correctly stored. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not sterilize. Product intended for external use. Do not use if the package is open or damaged. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. The use of drying materials in combination with Vulnamin Gel is not recommended. In case of reactions, local signs of infection (edema, erythema, discharge, color, pain) suspend treatment and consult a doctor. Carefully close the tube after use. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Vulnamin Gel should be stored at a temperature between 8°C and 30°C. Do not store in the refrigerator. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
