Wellion Glucose strips contain a biosensor and use the enzyme glucose oxidase, specific for measuring blood glucose from 20 to 600 mg/dL. When blood comes into contact with the test tip, capillary action draws the blood to the reaction zone. The enzyme reacts with glucose and produces an electrical signal; this signal can then be measured.
