Description
Medical device in gel for topical use based on galactosaminoglycan polysulfate, hyaluronic acid and other highly moisturizing and soothing components useful for restoring the physiological state of the skin, even in cases where it is altered by peripheral circulatory diseases or by edema and hematomas.
It helps prevent and locally treat skin alterations (dystrophies, dyschromia, xerosis, desquamation, dryness), also associated with the presence of venous diseases (venous varices, phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis) and skin hydration in such situations.
Local treatment of edema and hematomas induced by superficial trauma and bruises.

Instructions for use
To open the tube for the first time, pierce the protective membrane using the piercer located in the upper part of the cap. Apply an appropriate amount of gel to the surface to be treated and the surrounding areas, generally 4-6 cm of gel, gently massaging until completely absorbed. Do not use on broken skin. For the treatment of large areas, increase the amount of gel to 10-12 cm. Repeat the application up to 3 times a day. Close the tube carefully after each use. Continue treatment until symptoms disappear, gradually reducing the number of daily applications. If symptoms persist or no improvement is noted after 10 days of treatment, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Composition
Galactosaminoglycan polysulfate, sodium hyaluronate, isopropyl alcohol, 1,2 propylene glycol, carbomer, isopropyl myristate, sodium hydroxide, lavender essential oil, purified water.

Warnings
The product is for external use only, use only on intact skin, it should not be applied in case of bleeding, on open wounds and mucous membranes, or on infection sites in case of suppurative processes. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components of the product. Xioglican Gel contains propylene glycol which may cause irritation. Prolonged use of topical products may lead to sensitization; if such phenomena occur, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding or concomitant topical therapies, use should be under medical supervision. Do not use the product on children under 14 years of age. Keep the product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the device beyond the expiry date. Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly sealed at the time of first opening. In case of need, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects
No side effects associated with the use of the product are foreseen. Any side effects associated with the use of the device should be reported to a doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. The expiry date refers to the intact product, correctly stored. The expiry date is shown on the package.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
