Description
Medical device in the form of chewable tablets, mainly characterized by the combination of 3 elements: calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone.
Once it reaches the gastroesophageal lumen, the product neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acid vapors, exerting a protective and soothing action on the gastroesophageal mucosa. This allows ZENTIVA ACIDITY AND REFLUX to act quickly against stomach pain and burning due to hyperacidity. The presence of simethicone, a substance that can reduce the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion, reduces the sensation of bloating and abdominal distension.
Indicated for the treatment of heartburn and stomach pain caused by excess acidity and for the treatment of symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux.
The product is also useful in cases of digestive difficulties, heartburn, and heaviness (symptoms associated with dyspepsia).
Pleasant chamomile flavor.

Ingredients
Calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, simethicone, sorbitol, sodium citrate, magnesium stearate, aromatic chamomile extract, hydroxypropylcellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, sucralose.
Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.

Directions for use
Adults and children over 12 years of age: it is recommended to take one tablet as needed (if you experience symptoms of burning and/or pain) after main meals and in the evening before going to bed. Chew well before swallowing.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.

Warnings
Product not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. Therefore, it is advisable to consult a doctor if taking oral medicines concurrently, which should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart. Do not use the product for more than 2 weeks. If further necessity arises, consult a doctor.
This product contains approximately 28 mg of sodium, approximately 333 mg of calcium, and approximately 50 mg of magnesium per single dose (equal to 1 tablet of 2.4 g).
Do not use in case of kidney diseases or dysfunctions. Consult your doctor in case of hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), hypermagnesemia (high magnesium levels in the blood), nephrocalcinosis, and recurrent kidney stones containing calcium.
After taking the product, mild and transient side effects may occur, such as: bloating, abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, constipation. Adherence to the instructions for use reduces the risk of unwanted side effects. There are no contraindications to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it is always advisable to seek medical advice before use.
Do not use if the package is open or damaged, or if there are visible alterations in the appearance of the tablets.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Storage
Keep out of reach and sight of children. The product should be stored at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, in a cool, dry place and away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 24 months.
Do not store tablet parts for subsequent use. Do not dispose of the product in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. This will help protect the environment.
