OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION IN BOTTLE

Indications
Moisturizes and lubricates the ocular surface and reduces the risk of tear film instability.
While having no pharmacological effect, it protects the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by:
- adverse climatic and environmental conditions such as wind, cold, sun, saltiness, air conditioning, smoke, smog, fine dust;
- particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at video terminals or microscopes.
Useful when, under particular conditions or following the intake of certain drugs, tear production is reduced, such as during menopause and diabetes treatment.

Instructions for use
Instill, when needed, even multiple times a day, one or two drops in each eye, letting them fall from above and avoiding the bottle touching the eyelashes or the ocular surface.

Warnings
For external use only.
It should not be used immediately before the administration of medicinal treatments, and within 5 minutes after the application of any topical pharmacological therapy.
Do not use concurrently with contact lens application.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components or other chemically related substances.
Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Keep out of reach of children.

Undesirable Effects
In rare cases, slight blurring of vision has been observed upon instillation, which is due to the viscosity of the solution. This sensation, however, disappears very quickly.
In some rare cases, intolerance (burning and/or irritation sensation) may occur.
Prolonged symptoms may be caused by the presence of the preservative. In such a case, it is advisable to contact your ophthalmologist.
Adhering to the instructions in the leaflet reduces the risk of undesirable effects.

Components
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2 g; sodium chloride; magnesium chloride; potassium chloride; monobasic sodium phosphate; dibasic sodium phosphate, trisodium citrate; thimerosal; water p.p.i.

Storage
It should be stored at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
The solution must be used within 4 weeks of first opening the bottle. After this period, discard any remaining solution.
