Description
ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL has a high water-binding capacity, like a sponge, helping to reduce symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. In case of constipation, the substance releases water to the stool, increasing its volume and decreasing its hardness. In case of diarrhea, the substance continues to bind water in the colon, helping to consolidate the stool. The prebiotic effect of the substance also helps restore normal intestinal flora. The addition of simethicone can help absorb intestinal gas, helping to reduce abdominal pain.
ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL contains partially hydrolyzed guar gum and simethicone, which act synergistically in the treatment of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome. Guar gum absorbs a large amount of water in the luminal space, swelling the stool and thus increasing its mass. At the same time, fibers are useful in reducing the severity and frequency of diarrheal discharges, probably due to their ability to absorb and neutralize exogenous and endogenous toxins. Guar gum also regulates intestinal functions, increases stool hydration, lubricates, and promotes fecal mass. Furthermore, it binds harmful substances, such as excess bile acids, promoting their elimination.
Simethicone has strong surfactant properties that counteract flatulence and excess gastrointestinal gas. In addition, simethicone drains the foam that typically forms in a dyspeptic stomach.

Instructions for use
Take 1 sachet per day.
The dosage can be increased to 2 sachets per day. The product can be taken directly from the sachet or diluted in water or other beverages (juices, yogurt). Once the sachet is opened, take the product in a single administration. Any remaining solution cannot be taken later in the day. The recommended duration of treatment is four weeks. If, after this period, there is no significant improvement in symptoms, consult a doctor.

Components
Each ready-to-use liquid product sachet with Mango flavor contains a mixture of partially hydrolyzed guar gum and simethicone.
Excipients: vegetable glycerin, polysorbate 80, sucrose esters, sucralose, citric acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, water, flavor.

Gluten-free, naturally lactose-free.

Warnings
Do not use the product for children under 12 years of age. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, take only if strictly necessary and after consulting a doctor. It is advisable not to exceed the indicated quantities, as higher doses may cause unexpected adverse effects. Do not use for more than 30 consecutive days; if symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Do not take in case of intolerance to the product. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components, guar gum, and simethicone. Each sachet is for single use and should only be opened at the time of use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: the use of ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL is contraindicated in cases of hiatal hernia, esophageal narrowing, or intestinal obstructions. Before planned surgery, it is advisable to discontinue treatment for at least 2 weeks. The product may interfere with the action of certain reagents used in diagnostics, such as guaiac gum. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the product, to any of the components, to simethicone, or to guar gum.
UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: rarely, an increase in gastrointestinal gas production due to partially hydrolyzed guar gum may occur; this effect is readily resolved by the presence of simethicone in the product. In case of unexpected undesirable effects, discontinue ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
INTERACTIONS WITH DRUGS AND FOOD SUPPLEMENTS: due to its viscous nature and the presence of an adsorbing substance, ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL may delay or reduce the absorption of drugs and/or food supplements taken concomitantly. It is advisable to take the product at least 2 hours apart from drugs or food supplements. Do not use ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL if you are simultaneously taking estrogens, oral contraceptives, levothyroxine thyroid hormone, cephalosporins, penicillins, and antidiabetics, as the product components have hypocholesterolemic and hypoglycemic effects. Consult your doctor in case of concomitant therapies before taking ZYMEREX IBS IRRITABLE BOWEL.
Use the product by the date printed on the package. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, correctly stored.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources or direct light. Store at temperatures below 25°C. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
Expired or to be disposed of devices must be managed according to the waste management regulations of the Local Managing Authority. Under no circumstances should the product or its packaging be dispersed into the environment.
Validity of unopened packaging: 30 months.

One carton contains 14 sachets of liquid product.
Each sachet contains 30 ml of product.
